Alyssa Kiernan M.S.,CCC-SLP, CBIS
Alyssa has been providing speech therapy services since 2013. She has a Certificate of Clinical Competence by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association and is licensed in the states of Virginia and North Carolina. Alyssa also holds the distinction of Certified Brain Injury Specialist. Alyssa has a passion for helping individuals improve their quality of life within the nine areas recognized by ASHA. She believes a positive therapeutic relationship is essential to the assessment and intervention process and strives to make this connection with each client she encounters.
Lauren Gumpert, M.A., CCC-SLP
Lauren graduated with her Masters in Speech-Language Pathology from SDSU in 2017. She has experience working in both the hospital and school settings. Lauren's primary areas of interest include TBI, stuttering, and expressive/receptive language disorders. She is committed to communicating fully with her patients, families, and providers to ensure an optimal level of care and progress.
Ashley Causey, M.S., CCC-SLP
Ashley Causey is a board certified speech-language pathologist. She graduated from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill (Go Heels!) in 2008 and received her Masters from Old Dominion University in 2011.
Ashley has been providing speech therapy services since 2011. She has administered the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule-2 (ADOS-2) over the past 5 years and completed the advanced course. She also has training in the Wilson Reading program which uses the Orton-Gillingham approach (the gold standard for children with Dyslexia).
As a mother of twin toddlers, she has the passion needed to help children and families reach their speech goals.
Monica Irving OTR/L
Monica is a graduate of Bay Path University's 5 year Masters of Occupational Therapy Program. She has experience working in skilled nursing, home health, and pediatrics. Monica's passion resides in working with children ages 3-21 on improving independence, building confidence, and navigating the world around them.
Monica primarily uses the PEO model to deliver services. Person, Environment, and Occupation are three key areas to achieving success within this model. Using this model, she is able to create an environment that meets each child's individual needs in order to promote occupational achievement.
